GSheets Supercharge
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 7, 2026
Overview
GSheets Supercharge is a Google Workspace add-on operated by Felix Chery. This policy explains what information the add-on processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to users.
Spreadsheet content
The add-on reads and changes spreadsheet content only to provide the feature the user selects, such as exploring fields, managing records, cleaning values, creating categories, reshaping data, or producing analysis. Spreadsheet content is processed within Google Sheets and Google Apps Script. Worksheet values are not copied into the separate Firebase entitlement database.
Data validation is not written automatically. It is written only after an explicit user action such as “Set as Category” or “Add option.”
Account and access information
Google handles sign-in and authorization. The add-on may use the active user’s authorization context and stores an installation identifier in Apps Script user properties so it can request an access decision. The Firebase service stores a cryptographic hash of that identifier rather than the raw value.
Entitlement and billing records
To provide Free, trial, and Premium access, the entitlement service may store the hashed installation identifier, plan and status, activation and expiry timestamps, extension requests and redemptions, checkout-session records, PayPal subscription identifiers, and webhook processing records. These records do not contain worksheet values.
Payment processing
PayPal processes subscription checkout and payment details under its own privacy terms. GSheets Supercharge receives subscription identifiers and status notifications needed to grant, continue, suspend, or end Premium access. The developer does not receive or store the user’s full card or bank-account details.
How information is used
- To perform add-on actions requested by the user.
- To determine Free, trial, extension, or paid Premium access.
- To prevent replay, fraud, and unauthorized subscription linking.
- To respond to support, cancellation, and extension requests.
- To diagnose failures and maintain service security.
Information is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Sharing and service providers
Information is shared only as needed with the service providers that operate the add-on: Google Workspace and Google Cloud/Firebase for application functionality, and PayPal for subscriptions and payment processing. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
Retention and deletion
Operational and billing records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide access, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. To request access to or deletion of information associated with your installation, contact support. Some records may be retained where legally required.
Security
The service uses signed requests between Apps Script and Firebase, limited-duration checkout tokens, PayPal webhook verification, restricted database access, and secret storage intended to reduce unauthorized access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The current version will remain available at this URL with its latest revision date. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to felixkiprono.ke@gmail.com.
